Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy: What is it?
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy is an innovative approach in which psychedelic substances are administered in a safe, controlled environment for deep psychological healing. Trained therapists guide individuals through a 3-phase process including preparation, dosing session, and integration. PAT shows promise in treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders, often with remarkable results.
Read my disclaimer for critical information about Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and the services I am able to provide. I do not provide or facilitate access to controlled substances.
Since 2021, my clinical practice has focused on providing support and information to individuals who are seeking healing with PAT. I have had the great privilege to learn from many teachers and mentors, from both western and non-western traditions.

Preparation and Integration for Psychelic-Assisted Therapy
There are three parts: prep, dosing, integration.
Preparation for PAT
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy is a carefully held therapeutic process that unfolds over time, with intention, preparation, and integration woven into each step. This foundational work begins by slowing down: exploring your intentions, personal history, and the questions drawing you to this path. Strengths, supports, and areas of vulnerability are considered to assess whether a psychedelic approach is appropriate and safe.
Preparation includes clarifying intentions, strengthening your capacity to meet the unknown, and addressing set and setting. You’ll have space to name expectations, fears, and hopes so that you feel grounded and resourced heading into the experience.
Full-Day Dosing Session
A full-day experience allowing you to connect to your own inner healing intelligence with the support of two experienced and trained practitioners.
Integration
Integration is where much of the therapeutic value takes root. This phase focuses on working with the emotions, imagery, insights, and challenges that emerge, and is often where meaningful change begins to take shape. Throughout the process, the therapist’s role is to offer a steady, trauma-informed presence grounded in ethical clarity and care, supporting you with honesty and compassion as you make sense of your experience and move toward greater alignment.
I offer a one-hour virtual consultation designed to help you understand what is available for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, what aligns best with your needs, and what next steps may support your healing. This session is particularly helpful if you are curious about Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy but want clear, trustworthy guidance before moving forward.
During this consultation, we will explore:
Screening for contraindications, risks, and safety considerations
Which context may be best suited to your presenting concerns, including therapy, preparation, or integration
Your legal and ethical options in Canada, including research studies and regulated pathways
How to navigate the current field, including what to look for in practitioners, guides, or programs
Referrals when appropriate, such as clinical trials, integration specialists, trauma-informed therapists, or other supportive professionals
This session is not therapy itself, but it provides clarity, direction, and a safe place to discuss your questions honestly.
