Supervision for Therapists Walking with Clients Through Deep Change
“Claire’s supervision was thoughtful, grounded, and deeply informed. She helped me integrate theory, ethics, and lived experience in a way that strengthened my confidence and clinical judgment.”
— ELLEN, SUPERVISEE
Clinical Supervision
Why Clinical Supervision Matters
Therapists often carry their work alone. Without consistent supervision, even skilled clinicians may feel isolated, burdened by the emotional weight of the work, or may wonder how to approach complex cases. Uncertainty grows quietly. Ethical questions feel heavier. Countertransference gets harder to untangle. And the pressure to “get it right” can slowly erode confidence and clarity.
Good supervision changes everything. It creates a steady place to land, reflect, and refine your practice. It provides a sounding board for difficult moments, a space to sort through countertransference, and a relationship where your clinical growth is supported with insight, compassion, and honesty.
What to Expect in Clinical Supervision
Supervision with me is collaborative, relational, and grounding. I bring a warm, steady presence and over a decade of clinical and supervisory experience across trauma therapy, addictions counselling, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and community-based practice. Together, we build a space where you can bring your questions, your edges, your uncertainty, and your professional courage.
In our work, we explore client dynamics, ethical dilemmas, and your own internal responses with curiosity rather than judgment. Leaning into my training and experience, I offer clear guidance when needed and spacious reflection when that serves you better. My goal is to help you strengthen your therapeutic presence, expand your clinical skills, and feel more resourced in your work.
I am fully inclusive and warmly welcome people from all gender and sexual identities.
My Approach
My approach to clinical supervision is relational, reflective, and grounded in real-world practice. Supervision with me is more than oversight; it is a collaborative, supportive space to slow down, listen inward, and make sense of the complex moments that arise in the therapy room and within yourself as a clinician.
I draw on the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) and incorporate elements of reflective supervision, feminist supervision, and somatic inquiry, through a trauma-informed and attachment-oriented lens, to explore both client dynamics and your internal responses. Our work centres on curiosity, ethical clarity, and emotional steadiness, with thoughtful questions, gentle challenge, and support that honours your pace and learning style.
Above all, my intention is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more connected to your own clinical wisdom.
